Current Events and Happenings

Been keeping to busy, but need to start making time to write a blog here and there to get in the habit of when our new site is live. It’s going slower then I thought it would, but I guess these things can’t be created in minutes. Once the site is done I do plan to review the company that is making it on here, so far they have been great in communication and assistance in getting the site we want.

School is going pretty good, not exactly subjects I yearn to learn, but they also are not classes I have no interest in. I’m going to start working on papers for both and got some test coming up, so I really need to get on top of those. The best news is at least there isn’t any group projects. Whoot Whoot

This bail out bill that got defeated sure is killing the market. I’ve tried to make it a point to follow politics more this year as I haven’t followed it as closely as I should or any of us should for that matter. Although I have done better then I have in the past. I think that it’s a good thing the bill didn’t pass. When you save what should fail it only helps the market in the short term and not the long, where as if you let them fail like they should it will be bad short term, but better for the long term as the market will correct itself. Now a days it seems like our society feels nothing is allowed to fail and everything and everybody should succeed. It’s a nice thought, but really not reality and the longer we go on pretending that everyway and everything is the correct way or will work, the bigger the let down will be when reality comes calling.

Well I haven’t posted here in a really long time, because we started the other blog so we could sell advertising. That didn’t go as planned, so we rethought it and decided to have a offical website created. This one will have all kinds of neat things, such as four bloggers, a newsletter, we will host a monthly money added freeroll on Tilt, offer rakeback, store, and have a message board. We are very excited about this and will be putting a lot of effort into making this a great place to do everything poker realated and more.

That brings me to a choice of weather to keep this going or not. On one hand it will draw from my posting and time form the new site, but it will also give me a place to write and do things seprate form the bigtime site. The other thing is I kinda like having my poker name a dot com site, so I’m leaning towards keeping this one jst for my sake. I’m thinking I will just post most everything between both istes, and won’t advertise this one so much. It will just cost me a little extra each month.

As for the poker content, I’m doing really good. I’m starting to play more tournament and doing well, I’m playing $10 MTT and below. Playing more ring games, because they are easier to quit as I don’t always have a 6 hour block of time to play. Currently playing $50NL 6-max and showing that I’m a winning player at this level, will be a little bit before I move up though started playing this leve with a real low bankroll and just got it to the amount it should have been when I started.

Re-designed the website a little and that’s it for now.
